Yesterday hubby and I went for a walk in the snow and even though I am NOT a lover of snow and cold (I would love to move to and live in a country -tropical island- where there is warmth and sun all year long)...still it was a lovely sight: houses and nature all covered in white and crisp snow, people enjoying walks, children playing and making snowmen...A short impression of our walk (and lunch):

- 39, married to my real life romance hero, addicted to TV shows, reading romance novels and Twitter. I'm a chronic (e)book hoarder and my absolute favorite genres within romance fiction are contemporary romance and romantic suspense, but I don't shy away from historical, paranormal or erotic romance either. Even the occasional (urban) fantasy romance, futuristic and sci fi romance may make it to my Mount TBR. This is my corner of the world wide web where I let you know what books I'm hoarding, reading and reviewing.

Brr! Great photos. Did you build any of the snowmen pictured?
@SarahT > :) No, the snowmen are all courtesy of our neighbors. As said I am really not a snow-person and building a snowman or having snowball fights are not things I would voluntarily do, certainly when there are no kids compelling me to do so...I am much more comfortable at home under my blanket on the couch with a cup of tea and a book *wink* This walk was more to indulge hubby (who loves to be outdoor), but enjoyed it nevertheless!
What great pics - thanks for sharing! I must say that even though I do hate the cold, I love snow. It makes everything look so beautiful. I love it when there's snow, blue sky and the sun shining, there's noting quite like it. :)
What a wonderful pics Pearl...and is that you in pic 6 (right column)underneath all those layers of clothing :D
Beautiful pictures! I wish we would get snow here - we got less than an inch on Christmas day last year and about the same one day 4 years ago. My poor 3-year-old thinks snowmen are made from plywood or blow-up nylon!!!
Thanks for sharing - I'm so jealous!!!
Lovely pics, Pearl! It looks the same overhere ;) I love it outside with the snow, but I'm stuck at my desk (damn job) *sob*
Thanks for sharing :)
My tummy rumbled at your lovely food pictures. I want to play in the snow *cries* stupid Southern California and it's 24/7 sunshine.
Awesome pics, Pearl! I miss snow and hope we get a little bit this year.
And you've also decided for me what I'll be having for dinner tonight. Those eggs looked SO good! I love dippy eggs...
Oh your so lucky to have all of that wonderful white snow. Here in Texas, we don't get to see that white stuff very often or in that quantity.
Beautiful!! Lunch looked delicious too. ;)
Nice! Love the breakfast. Or is that lunch?
I so hate the cold but I have to admit that looks so beautiful!
A real winterwonderland!
Oh wow! I love the pictures. I live in Florida and we don't get to experience the cold. I am okay with that, though :) Did you take those pictures? I especially like the one of the partially frozen pond and the birds in flight. Very nice!
