SURPRISE, SUPRISE
The last woman business consultant Marcus Danvers expects to find at Kline Electronics is Veronica Richards. He’s supposed to be rooting out a corporate spy, not rehashing an old love affair—with the woman who sold out the company they both used to work for and then took off without so much as a kiss goodbye. All the clues point to Ronnie as the firm’s newest mole, which means he’ll have to spend time with the stubbornly reticent—and mouthwateringly sexy—woman he hasn’t been able to forget, and uncover every last thing she has to hide…

FANCY SEEING YOU HERE
It’s just Ronnie’s luck. The one man she’d hoped never to see again is suddenly everywhere she looks—and taking up a starring role in her daydreams, too. Remembering the passion she and Marcus once shared certainly isn’t going to help, though, not when she has so many secrets, and no explanation for the way she left him eighteen months ago—or at least not one he’ll want to hear. The problem is, when Marcus is around all her good intentions go up in smoke…

Veronica Richards (Ronnie) is a young woman with the responsibility of raising her teenage sister after their parents die in an accident. Everything in her life falls apart when she has to make decisions no young woman must have to in her early twenties and this causes her to lose the only man she has ever loved: Marcus Danvers. She's betrayed not only the company they both worked for but also his trust and feelings. Now after almost two years they meet again when Marcus has to smoke out a corporate spy at the company she works for never thinking she would see Marcus ever again. Ronnie being a logical suspect brings them together and Ronnie knows it's only a matter of time before everything she run away from almost two years ago is not going to go away before she deals with them and Marcus.

Ronnie and Marcus' story started in Book 1 of the CIS Duo (Come Up and See Me Sometime). The little hints in that book certainly had me longing for their own book just to know just what exactly was the deal with Ronnie. And after a fairly long search I was finally able to get it in my hands and it didn't disappoint me at all.
The motivation and reasons for Ronnie's actions in book 1 is finally given. And they were more than satisfactory.

Marcus and Ronnie are believable and very recognizable characters. The focus is mainly on the relationship between the main characters and less on the plot of finding the corporate spy, although this is indissoluble tied to the development of their relationship.

Marcus is a hero you must like right from the beginning. It does help that he sounds utterly delectable but he’s also honest, straight to the point and hiding his true feelings under a mask of humor and male self-assurance on the border of arrogance. But he was never able to forget the woman who left him without a word of goodbye after betraying him and his business partner. The only woman ever to get to him.
Ronnie is a heroine who has done some things you disapprove but at the same time you understand her motivation for her actions. Her insecurity and the setbacks she has had early in life make her doubt his feelings toward her and this influences her decisions. She does have a "pot calling the kettle black"-moment that had me raising my eyebrows but that didn't affect my overall opinion of her. She still was an appealing character and perfect match for Marcus.

The secondary characters were as appealing as the main characters but again Monroe's talent lets her give them complementing and significant roles without taking the attention away from Ronnie and Marcus.

The sexual tension between them builds up gradually, spiraling towards great sensual heights in some exquisite love scenes and a grand finale in the second part of the book. In general I liked the second part of the book the best. That's were it got interesting when they both finally open up to each other and trust each other with everything they were keeping from one another.
But again this was a book appealing to your emotions and your heart. Lucy Monroe has a way with combining the themes of love and trust with a suspense plot that make you want to keep reading in spite of the fact that the book wasn't fast-paced. You just involuntarily get pulled in into the relationship of two people who have secrets and issues and the way they eventually come to terms with them and each other, finding love and trust.

Both books of the CIS duo are equally well written and able to move you even though they both have a different touch and feel. I liked book 1 a tiny bit better but that was because it pulled my heartstrings just a bit more and I think the fact of knowing so much already about Marcus and Ronnie left little surprises to be revealed at the end. You as the reader already know how it is going to end. I prefer being left a little in the dark so I can be as stunned and surprised as the characters in the book. In book 1 this was the case but in this book I missed that feeling.

Nonetheless for me as a reader with great appreciation for the contemporary genre Lucy Monroe is a must-read. Her illustrative, vivid and simple writing style makes you feel like you watching a television series instead of reading a book. If you're looking for an emotional but recognizable and easy to relate to contemporary romance you will most definitely find it these CIS books.

They’re the good guys fighting the bad guys. They’ll get the job done—if the price is right and so is the cause. Meet three sexy men who individually are READY, WILLING, and ABLE to go the distance—and together, are unstoppable...

Claire Sharp trusts few people and relies on no one. But after her life is threatened, ex-mercenary Brett Adams blows into her self-contained world, full of southern charm, rugged good looks, and enough sexual experience to write a how-to manual...experience he makes it clear he'd like to use on Claire. She wants help fighting the bad guys, but she's not about to fall into Brett's bed. For one thing, the guy has a no-commitment clause better than most big shot attorneys and for another, despite her response to his too sensual kisses, in her experience sex isn't exactly fireworks and brass bands. Definitely not worth getting all excited over...

Brett plans to prove her wrong. He’s never felt such a powerful combination of lust and friendship with a woman. He'll give her a white-hot pleasure like nothing she’s ever known and she'll realize that some things in life are worth taking the risk for. When the threat to Claire grows dangerously close, pitting them against deadly odds, Brett will do whatever it takes to save her. Because Claire Sharp has just found herself a man who’s ready to bring it on, willing to do what it takes, and able to go the distance…

They say three is a charm...and a charm Hotwire definitely was. Being a sucker for southern charm I must say Lucy Monroe saved the best for last in this trilogy. I was anticipating his story from the first time he appeared in book 1 and by the time he unintentionally showed his affection for Claire in the second book I was not just anticipating anymore but more like craving. I could never have guessed it would be this good, he turned out to be much more than meets the eye.

We met Hotwire in "Ready" as one of Wolf's fellow mercenaries and friend. He is a wiz with computers, charming, polite and honorable but that's all on the surface, underneath he is a toughened mercenary ready to take on any enemy to cross his path or the path of the ones he holds dear. He has feelings for Claire but because of things in the past he can't offer her anything more than his friendship.
Claire first made her appearance in "Willing" as Josie's roommate and friend. She is smart, independent and stubborn and she has a crush on Hotwire but he's warned her that he's not looking for any type of commitment so she keeps her distance.
A threat on Claire's life spirals into both a very imaginative plot and the realization that there is much more between Claire and Hotwire than friendship.
The plot spins off subplots that all roll into one final great conclusion and the relationship between the main characters takes a very surprising turn that blows them both of their feet.

Claire and Hotwire are well-developed main characters, each with their own personal tragedies in their pasts to motivate their views on life, love and passion. I do think Hotwire went a little overboard at one point with his chivalry. It was nice to see him take responsibility for his actions but his views on marriage were a bit archaic and he wasn't seeing that. Luckily Claire was smart enough to show him he was overreacting a bit. Showing her determination and independence she formed the balance I needed to keep Hotwire the hero I loved from the start.
The secondary characters were well-dosed into the story and very complementary to Hotwire and Claire, of course some of them were the main characters of book 1 and 2: Lise, Wolf, Josie and Nitro and they were all a true contribution to Claire and Hotwire's story, giving them center stage to do their thing.
My favorite scene was the one where Hotwire realizes, with a little help from Wolf and Nitro, that he does love Claire. It was a great scene and a real trademark for Lucy Monroe's style: emotional, intense but still spiked with humor and wit.

Again Lucy Monroe has written a delicious combination of passionate romance and another amazing suspense plot. She is very good at mixing everyday things as studying for finals with suspense and romance. Her writing style is fluent and although not fast-paced in this book she kept me turning the pages anxious to know how everything was going to fall in place. Her characters are very easy to relate to, compelling and touching. They have depth and through their dialogues and thoughts you really get to know them and their feelings. Her love scenes are formidable and an addition to the already intense emotional love story and they are the cherries on the pie. The first kissing scene is the appetizer for a delicious meal of passionate love scenes throughout the book. Beautifully written and very erotic in a tasteful way. There was a pool scene that made me happy I was reading this book in the middle of the winter because in the summer I would have combusted into flames...

Overall it's a great trilogy where the total turns out to be so much more that the sum of the parts. Each book has it's own perfectly balanced and paired hero and heroine and it's own unique suspense plot. For me this trilogy is a true keeper in the genre of romantic suspense with the lovely and strong heroines and the delightful alpha heroes topped of with the capability of combining a thrilling plot with intense emotions.

Quotes:
Hotwire and Claire after their first kiss:
" So, no more soul kisses"
"That felt more like a groping, marauder kiss to me."
" I do not grope." Hotwire looked truly offended
"So the fingers I felt on my behind were a spectral phenomenon?” she mocked

Today after a lot of swearing and fussing I finally was able to make and upload the picture for the header of this new blog.
Photoshop was no problem after some help from my darling husband but uploading the darn thing really was starting to frustrate me until I found out my webbrowser is not that compatible for uploading pictures. Once we established this the problem was quickly solved by using another browser.

No I'm finally ready to start moving my reviews from the old blog and posting my current reviews.

EVER THINK SCROOGE HAD IT RIGHT BEFORE THE GHOSTS RUINED HIS LIFE? MEET AIDAN CONNOR
At one time he was a world-renowned celebrity who gave freely of himself and his money without wanting anything in return...until those around him took without asking. Now Aidan wants nothing to do with the world -or anyone who's part of it.

WHEN A STRANGER APPEARS ON HIS DOORSTEP, AIDAN KNOWS HE'S SEEN HER BEFORE...IN HIS DREAMS
Born on Olympus as a goddess, Leta knows nothing of the human world. But a ruthless enemy has driven her from the world of dreams and into the home of the only man who can help her: Aidan. Her immortal powers are derived from human emotions -and his anger is just the fuel she needs to defend herself...

ONE COLD WINTER'S NIGHT WILL CHANGE THEIR LIVES FOREVER...
Trapped together in a brutal winter storm, Aidan and Leta must turn to the only power capable of saving them -or destroying them both: trust.

Well, I'm still reeling after reading the last page of this book and I'm sorry to say not reeling in a positive way but more with disappointment and indignation.
This novella -I seriously can't call it a book being 240 pages in a very large font- does not deserve the Kenyon name to it.
The ingredients were all there:
Aidan: the famous movie star and disappointed by his family's jealousy and resentment, Leta: a goddess bent saving Aidan's life from Dolor: the bad-ass god of Pain summoned by Aidan's revengeful brother and who still has a bone to pick with Leta. But unfortunately it never made good on the promise by mixing these ingredients into a story able to blow me away.

It read like it was written in a rush, trying to stuff as much information as possible into as little pages as possible.
Aidan and Leta were promising characters but I think they deserved more than this anthology-like story. I would have liked a bit more of backgrounds for them instead of a full-blown romance in the time span of 24 hours. Why the Christmas theme was brought into the mix? I really don't know. It could easily have done without it in my opinion so that there would be more room for character development. I certainly had ambivalent feelings towards their characters, especially Aidan's, one moment I could relate to his feelings but the next I felt he was whining like a small child and I really wanted him to move on. I was getting tired of the "oh I'm so good and the whole world is mean and bad"-crap and it really started to annoy me only a few chapters into the story.
It's really not a good sign when a secondary character with very little appearances is much more appealing to you than both hero and heroine. But this has happened to me twice in a row with Kenyon (Devil May Cry and this novella). In this one it was Deimos who intrigued me to a point I was hoping he would come back every next scene.
Even the love scene didn't have that Kenyon-vibe. It felt rushed and dispassionate and certainly not what I'm used to in Kenyon's books.
What I did like of Aidan and Leta was their interaction, their sarcastic banter. This Kenyon trademark is what saved the novella from really being burned to the ground in my eyes

Still something was off, it didn't give me the emotional rush I had reading Dream Hunter. It lacked intensity and excitement I did experience reading the early Dark-Hunter novels. I only caught a glimpse of these feelings in the last few chapters where Aidan. Leta and Deimos engage Dolor and Donnie in battle and where Aidan finally realizes he has to stop whining. But by then it was too late to really save the book for me. The negative feelings couldn't be completely redeemed by the last few positive chapters.

Kenyon has been on my auto-buy list ever since I read Fantasy Lover for the first time but if Dream Chaser (Xypher's story) doesn't reach the level the early Dark-Hunter books had or that of The Dream-Hunter this is something definitely worth reconsidering.

Upon The Midnight Clear was marketed as a gift from Kenyon to her readers and I know you aren't supposed to look a gift horse in the mouth but honestly this is a gift we could have done without. Especially when the gift is certainly not for free but costs about the same as regular paperbacks that aren’t gifts.

A sinful passion
Though few can equal her skill with the sword, Caledonia MacNeely fights an unfamiliar shiver when she is offered in marriage to the infamous "Lord Sin." Though Callie fears this mysterious, unreachable stranger -less for the dark whispers that damn him than for the heat of his touch- she is under the order of the English king. And with the fate of her troubled clan hanging in the balance, she has little recourse.

Banished as a child, "Sin" MacAllister learned to despise his Scottish heritage. Yet now, to unmask King Henry's foes, he must return to the hated Highlands -wedded to a bewitching lass whose flaming red hair match the fire of her spirit. A cold, hard heart has always been the key to Sin's survival, but this beauty awakens in him a perilous need he's never known.

A forced marriage between Sin MacAllister, illegitimate and unloved son, and Callie MacNeely, hostage of the English King Henry marks the end of a lifetime of him being spurned, rejected and used.
Will his ice-cold heart melt under her kindness and love or will his word and loyalty cause him to lose the very thing he's yearned deep inside for all his life?

What a wonderful book delivered by Kinley MacGregor. My heart broke for Sin, I laughed with Sin, I cried for Sin and ultimately I fell in love with Sin.
He intrigued me in "Claiming the Highlander" but never could I have imagined the way he moved me from the very first page of the prologue in his own book.
A few pages into chapter one I was praying for his happily ever after.
His story grabbed me from the very first word until the very last, stirring several strong different and conflicting emotions: One moment I was (almost) in tears for Sin and his suffering, another moment I was cheering on Callie's fierceness and the next moment I was swept away by their passion.

Sin is deliciously arrogant but still a man of his word and an honorable man. He is strong and powerful, a force to be reckoned with. He possesses a dry wit that managed to plaster numerous smiles on my face while reading the book. I really enjoyed the bantering between him and Simon, him and Callie and him and his brothers.

Sin broke my heart with his yearning for acceptance and love, his yearning to belong. He is lethal and cold but he's also a man who -although he thinks he can't- can be gentle and tender given the right incentive. This incentive is Callie. Brave, fearless, stubborn, outspoken, kind and loyal Callie. He has never known love or compassion and doesn't know how to deal with Callie's kindness and care. She represents something he has never known. Someone who is kind to him and not afraid of him. She is also his weakness, a weakness he eventually embraces after first uselessly trying to fight it.

The last few chapters were breathtaking and heartbreaking. I cried my eyes out when Sin was presented with the dilemma of choosing between his word and loyalty to Henry and his love for Callie and the way he tried to solve his dilemma. I can tell you I tear up a lot reading books but crying my eyes out is something that only happens when my emotions are really rattled.

Written with humor and flair I really enjoyed this MacAllister-novel. Combining light humor with intense primary characters with deep emotions and adding a collection of wonderful, compelling secondary characters who are endearing and funny and who complement both story and main characters makes it the best in the series so far for me.
MacGregor captured my attention and kept it in a firm hold with a delightful and heart-wrenching story of love, honor, passion and loyalty.

Quotes:
Sin to one of Henry's knights: " My idea of amusement is disemboweling those who contradict and annoy me. What say you that you and I have a bit of fun?”

She looked like a goddess standing there. A breathtaking angel come to save his rotten soul.

HE HAS RESISTED TEMPTATION FOR CENTURIES, A STONE-COLD WARRIOR WHOSE FROZEN HEART REFUSES TO THAW--UNTIL HER . . .

With a dagger in her hand and vengeance on her mind, Darkhaven beauty Elise Chase prowls Boston's streets in search of retribution against the Rogue vampires who took from her everything she cherished. Using an extraordinary psychic gift, she tracks her prey, well aware that the power she possesses is destroying her. She must learn to harness this gift, and for that she can turn to only one man--the deadliest of the Breed warriors, Tegan.

No stranger to loss, Tegan knows Elise's pain. He knows fury, but when he slays his enemies it is with ice in his veins. He is perfect in his self-control, until Elise seeks his aid in her personal war. An unholy alliance is forged--a bond that will link them by blood and vow--and plunge them into a tempest of danger, desire, and the darkest passions of the heart . . . .

In the continuing battle against evil, an anguished warrior of the Order and a Breedmate on a mission of vengeance find themselves fighting not only an evil Rogue, determined to dominate both Breeds and humans but also the feelings that bare their hearts for hurt and vulnerability.  Their collaboration leads to more than retaliation on the one responsible for their losses and in the process they gain something they never imagined wanting ever again...

Tegan is a Gen One (first generation) Breed, fellow founder of the Order with Lucan. Hardened through the centuries he doesn't care about anything or anyone.
He's crude, ruthless and has managed to turn emotional detachment into an art after the loss of his Breedmate.
But this all changes when he meets Elise Chase. Bit by bit she picks away at his cold demeanor and finds the man beneath. But his harshness and dispassionate behavior is just a façade, his way of protecting himself from any more pain and hurt. With her he's different, protective and even gentle.
Every time he tries to scare her away with his cold and blunt behavior, he discovers sides to her he can't but admire and he finds himself unable to keep fighting his feelings for her.
Elise too has known loss, losing both her mate and son to the Rogues. This has turned her into a woman bent on revenge against the ones responsible for her loss. A revenge that sends her straight into the arms of the coldest warrior of the Order.

Elise is a woman on a mission of vengeance. Like all the Breedmate she too has a gift. But her gift torments her. She hears human's thoughts to the extent that she physically suffers from them. We meet Elise in Kiss of Crimson (book 2) and now her story continues.
Tegan is nothing short of impressive. Tegan's gift is that of being able to tap into people's thoughts and feelings by touching them.
In many ways Elise and Tegan are very alike. Both trying to keep themselves detached from loss and pain.
The initial interactions between Elise and Tegan are intense and laced with underlying mutual attraction and sexual tension. When circumstances put them together the attraction and tension turns into full-blown passion and love. The chemistry between them is heartfelt and with every scene they have together you get wrapped into the raw emotions they both feel and fight against. Their struggle is really palpable.

The war between the Order and the Rogues, with the Darkhaven Breeds in the middle, rages on in this book, bringing it up yet another notch. It also brings us to other scenery, leaving Boston and taking the battle into Eastern Europe, Berlin, in a significant portion of the second half of the book.
The plot thickens and gets more and more intricate with twists to the plot and new characters added to the mix. Both characters and plot are able to fascinate and captivate.
We're allowed small glimpses of main characters of previous books: Lucan, Gabrielle, Dante and Tess. But the foundation for the next book is also laid in small glimpses of Rio in a few heart-wrenching scenes
Bits of history and background, nicely mixed and well dosed into the story, contribute to understanding the world of the Order, the Breedmates, the Breed and the Rogues.

Lara Adrian manages to give the recurring plot, the war against the Rogues, a new and unexpected twist in every book and again the cast of secondary characters from the previous book is expanded with some new intriguing characters. She does a great job of building up the world in a gradual but superb way, leading to a breathtaking finale.
The mix of love story and plot is perfectly balanced, blending together with little effort.  Adrian manages to keep the focus on Tegan and Elise despite the exciting and intriguing battle against the Rogues and their leader Marek. He is the personification of a depraved evil, malice seeping from his every pore. But the final pages of the book showed me that he's only the tip of the iceberg. I'm bracing myself for much worse evil still to come.

I must say that this series gets better and better with every book. Introducing characters and plots able to mesmerize me and keep me wanting more.
I closed this book craving the next installment, desperate to know where Adrian is taking us. One thing I do know for sure: It's going to be a journey full of delicious alpha warriors, strong and gifted females, passionate desire and unpredictable plots.
This book held me tightly in its grip from the very first page never letting go of me. Oh yes, I'm still hooked on the Midnight Breed and getting more addicted with every new book.

Mishka Le’Ace was created to be an undercover operative . . . literally. Her beautiful body has been mechanically augmented to give her superhuman strength -- strength she’s going to need. Her latest mission sends her to rescue Alien Investigation and Removal agent Jaxon Tremain from torture and death. With him, she discovers a passion unlike any other. A passion she was forbidden to know. . .

From the moment they meet in a darkened cell, Jaxon craves her touch. But the machine half of Le’Ace forces her to do things she doesn’t always want to do. Even betray him . . . and ultimately destroy him. Now Jaxon must battle the man controlling Le’Ace and even Le’Ace herself to at last claim the woman he’s come to love.

This book took me on a ride that was fast and exciting, touching and sensual. If you’re looking for a futuristic, delicious, heartbreaking story, look no further. With this series Gena Showalter has created a fascinating world of aliens and humans, adding an android to the mix in this third installment.

Jaxon Tremain is an agent with the Alien Investigation and Removal agency (A.I.R.). Investigating a new race of aliens called the Schön, who have come to earth infecting humans with a virus that turns them into cannibals, he’s captured and tortured by another race of aliens whose planet was destroyed by the Schön.
Jaxon found out the hard way a long time ago that every action has consequences so he has learned to hide his wild side under a mask of control, reservation and perfect manners. Until he meets Mishka, she stirs something inside him he’d thought well hidden and with her bit by bit he starts showing his true self. He tries to deny with all his might that he’s falling for Mishka but he’s fighting a lost battle.

Mishka Le ‘Ace, an android, part machine, part animal, part alien, part human is sent in to rescue him.
Mishka is a fighting and killing machine, to be commanded by whomever owns her. She never lets anyone come close and never allows herself to care about people because sooner or later she will be ordered to betray those same people and do something to hurt them. Until she meets Jaxon, he shows her there is more than orders and also that love will not be overruled by commands or ownership. From the moment she gets to know Jaxon she struggles with the choice between her feelings for him and the fact that her every action is controlled by the man who owns her. The choice between the man she loves and admires and the obedience to orders that are programmed into her system. The choice between being a woman or a machine. She believes she has no freedom of choice but Jaxon and the love he has for her make her realize that she does have free choice.

This wonderful story of duty, love, sacrifice, fear, free choice, love and loyalty kicks right into gear from the very first page with instant attraction between Jaxon and Mishka, an action-packed plot, a delectable alpha-male hero and an utterly strong and capable heroine who kicks butt like no one else.

The secondary characters are strong and complimentary to the plot and this is logical since some of them are main characters in the previous books. And off course Devyn, king of Targon also makes an appearance...He establishes once again his status as a major secondary character with his cockiness, selfconfidence, his one-track mind and his dry sense of humour...I’m still hoping he’ll get his own book some day.

Contrary to the first two books in this series this book is not written in the first person but in the third person. I was already starting to get used to the first person but personally I think Showalter hit the jackpot writing this one in the third person and I understand why she stepped away from the first person perspective for this book. For me it wouldn’t have worked as well as it did now because to get the full scope of the story and the plot you need more than one person’s perspective. So not only that of Mishka was neccesary to make the storylines work but also those of Jaxon, Dallas and Mia. Adding their points of view were what gave the book the extra juice I missed in the previous books. But I do need to mention that the previous books did a marvellous job of setting the stage for this tremendously well-written third book. It all came together in a way that was enticing, compelling and not to mention so fast-paced it kept me turning the pages like a madwoman!

The plot is so well written it kept me on edge right until the end, Showalter did a great job of building up the tension, unraveling bits and pieces at a time up to an all-consuming, unexpected climax that leaves you wondering how she comes up with these plots. Her skills at storytelling are amazing both, emotionally as well as the action; the scenes where Jaxon defends Mishka and stands up for her against his fellow agents and friends, who see her as a coldhearted killer, are heartwarming and made me like him even more than I already did.
And the love-scenes were so hot, they practically burned the pages and they certainly had me burning...
But also the fight sequences were truly mindblowing! I already thought this reading the previous books, but the ones in this book were top notch, being topped of by the fight between Mishka and Mia. It was like seeing it on a moviescreen with the way Showalter described it so vividly it just came of the pages.

Gena Showalter has a knack for very satisfying plots and appealing characters and manages to balance plot, romance and characters into an exquisitely balanced and enchanting mix keeping me reading page after page to find out what would happen next. It felt like being on a speeding train, moving fast on the tracks, never slowing down and forcing you to hold on tight and ride it to the end. At that end reaching the final destination with nothing but a feeling of utter satisfaction.
If she wasn’t on my auto-buy list already she would certainly be put on it now.

Quotes:
Mia and Jaxon:
“You and Dallas should kiss and make up,” Mia suggested. “With tongue. I mean, really. It’s the least you can do.”
“When he tells me what I want to know, I’ll plant a fat wet one right on his mouth.”
She rolled her eyes. “Liar. Not nice to get my hopes up like that."

Devyn when Mishka and Mia engage in a fight:
“Anyone else aroused by this?” the one called Devyn asked with a laugh.
“You need to shut it, you pervert,” Eden grumbled, but there was affection in her tone.
